The ESTA Board
The ESTA Board is created under the Emergency Services Telecommunications Act 2004 (the ESTA Act).
It comprises a board of up to nine Members who set ESTA’s strategic direction; oversee financial management; monitor performance; identify areas of significant business risk; and have overall responsibility for ESTA's compliance and corporate governance. The ESTA Board also appoints the Chief Executive Officer and undertakes the CEO’s performance reviews.
The ESTA Board reports to the Minister for Police and Emergency Services and also reports to and consults with the ESTA Advisory Committee.
